What You’ll Do
- Lead the planning and execution of large-scale and complex capital projects by managing Front End Loading (FEL) studies, project schedules, budgets, construction activities, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide leadership on developing competitive bidding strategies, including bid evaluation and contractor selection, to ensure cost-effective and high-quality project results.
- Establish equipment performance requirements and engineering design criteria to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Establish and maintain robust schedule and cost control processes, including forecasting, progress tracking, variance analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with project teams, site leadership, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of project execution.
- Provide technical and project leadership to multidisciplinary teams while mentoring and developing junior project managers
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, guidelines, and company requirements so that all designs and project activities meet regulatory, safety, and operational expectations.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, enhance operational performance, and support business growth initiatives
- Support business development efforts by participating in client relationship management, project scoping, proposal development, and strategic planning activities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering or Science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- 10 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial operations, or other process-based industries with 4 years of project management experience
- Prior experience with industrial processes and equipment in a heavy industrial or advanced manufacturing sector
- Demonstrated success managing multiple complex, cross-functional capital projects from concept through final implementation
- Strong understanding of Front End Loading (FEL), project governance, risk management, procurement, construction management, and project controls
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing relationships with clients, contractors, engineering firms, vendors, and operational stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, scope, and performance metrics within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency with engineering design and project management tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, SAP, Solidworks, NX or similar systems

Salary : $100,280 - $138,000
