Location: :Richmond, CA
Hours: :Part-Time. Full time hours during school breaks | Hours subject to change during school year.
Monday - Friday 2pm-6:15pm, :8:30am-4pm on extended days.
Compensation: :$20.00 per hour :

The After School Program (ASP) Teacher plays a vital role in providing a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children and young adults (ages 7-22) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This dynamic program offers a variety of enriching activities, including community outings such as mini golf, sports events, go-karting, and park adventures. On-site, participants enjoy outdoor play, board games, movie nights, and tech time. The ASP Teacher fosters social interaction, skill development, and personal growth while ensuring each participant’s needs are met in a supportive and inclusive setting. This rewarding position is both fast-paced and fulfilling, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Must Have:
- Completion of, or willingness to obtain:, 12 Semester or 18 quarter units in early childhood education (ECE), child development, recreation, physical education, social welfare, nursing, psychology, sociology, home economics, education, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- California Driver's License and a good driving record.
- Successful completion of a health screen, drug screen, and criminal background clearance.
