About the Opportunity
Vista Charleston is seeking to hire tenured Logistics Brokers to join our new Charleston, SC team located in West Ashley. This is a unique opportunity to get in the door on the ground floor as our firm expands across the Southeastern Region. More specifically, we are looking for Brokers who can bring current or previous accounts or Agents that want to jump back into the field. We are looking for those who want to grow with us and build their career with Vista.
What we can offer, is one of the most competitive commission rates out there, from 20% up to 70% of Gross Profit and all the support one could need to manage and further scale their accounts with Vista. We are also seeking Freight Account Managers who have 2 years experience in 3PL sales/account management, who want to get back into the game and build their own book of business. We do not put our employees on Non-competes or non-solicits*

What you’ll do
• Leverage your sales and logistics skills to broaden your footprint and secure new business and scale your current accounts.
• Actively Prospect across the US, Mexico and Canada to forge new relationships, manage a robust sales pipeline, influence decision makers, and close deals.
• Actively and professionally oversee the booking, management and success of your freight shipments from A-Z.
• Research and dive into shipping trends and market shifts to best advise client
• Serve as a trusted adviser and logistics expert, guiding clients by helping resolve issues in a timely manner, securing great rates, and seeing each load to the finish line.
• Ensure clear and timely communication both internally and externally
Requirements
• U.S citizen or authorised to work in the U.S
• Thorough understanding and hands on experience in a Logistics Brokerage setting, and a proven track record to bring in customers, negotiate rates and oversee the shipments from pick up to delivery
• Understanding of the Trucking Market and Software Systems such as Ascend Tms, Zoom Info, DAT, Truckstop, etc. Must be Located in Charleston, SC. (Hires with a book of business may have the option to work remotely)
• Advanced interpersonal skills, organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics in Sales Brokerage or Account Management
• Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• A proven track record in sales is a must
• Ability to work full-time. Our hours are: Monday - Friday 8am-4pm - Remote/Work from home day: Thursdays
