Physical Therapist Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients, ranging in age from 18 years or older who are in need of innovative and highly skilled Physical therapy treatments and services in inpatient rehabilitation. Physical Therapists provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities and limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation services. Physical Therapists establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. Physical Therapists educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current license for Physical Therapist in state of employment
- Must maintain current Provider BLS/CPR certification throughout employment
Experience
- At least 6 months of experience directly related to duties and responsibilities
- Ability to project a professional image Rehab Tech Knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance requirements and company policies and procedures
- Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice
- Strong organizational and analytical skills Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. (order entry, data entry)
