Payroll Administrator Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and benefit administration, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with government regulations. Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of payroll and benefits regulations, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or equivalent college level courses in accounting or related field preferred.
Licenses/Certification: Payroll certification preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years’ payroll experience required. Working in healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with the state and federal payroll and tax rules and regulations.
Experience working within Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Proficiency in Paycom and Time Management experience preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required.
Strong work ethics and ability to treat sensitive information in a professional manner.
