Vista Animal Hospital is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team.

What You’ll Do as a Veterinary Technician

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Obtain patient history and vitals
  • Patient restraint for procedures
  • Perform laboratory procedures including hematology, serology, blood chemistry, urinalysis, fecal analysis, and skin/ear cytology
  • Perform or assist with diagnostic testing/radiography
  • Provide comprehensive client education in person and on the phone
  • Assist in surgery and monitor anesthesia.
  • Perform dental cleanings and radiographs
  • Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients

Successful Candidate Requirements

  • RVT license
  • Must be motivated, reliable, organized, and adaptable to changes.
  • Committed to learning and practicing Low-stress techniques.
  • Must be able to communicate well with clients by showing care and concern for them as well as their pets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, function independently, and contribute to the success of the team in a face-paced environment.
  • Ezyvet software experience is preferred (can substitute experience with other veterinary management software).
