Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with team members. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to our patients and supporting our veterinarians.
Responsibilities:
· Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgeries
· Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and radiographs
· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
· Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
· Maintain accurate patient records
· Educate pet owners on preventive care and treatment plans
· Ensure a clean and organized work environment
· Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
Qualifications:
· Veterinary Technician certification (CVT, LVT, RVT) preferred
· Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
· Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Compassion for animals and their owners
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
