Veterinary Client Service Representative /Receptionist

4 day workweek, no weekends

Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary CSR/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, experience working in the veterinary field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with team members.

Responsibilities:

·Greeting clients and ensuring a smooth check-in and check out process for patients

· Client communications: Answering phone calls, monitoring email and messaging, answering general inquiries

·Appointment scheduling: Manage schedule to ensure efficient use of veterinarian and nurse time, maintain accurate patient and client information in management software, monitor patient reminders

· Ensure a clean and organized work environment

·Process payments and with accurate handling of transactions and evaluation of end of day reporting

Work closely with veterinarians and support staff to provide excellent patient care and client experience

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting desired

Customer service experience

· Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Compassion for animals and their owners

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
