What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro Mechanical Assembler position at Visium Resources, Inc.?
Introduction:
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electro-Mechanical Assembler position. This position is a contract-to- direct hire opportunity, located in Orlando, FL for a duration of 4 months contract to direct hire with client.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read assembly drawings and follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to hand solder thru-hole and surface mount components
- Must be extremely motivated to work at the highest production standards
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Must be able to properly and efficiently use crimpers for contacts as small as 1mm
- Must be able to properly and safely use all standard hand tools including, screw drivers, wrenches, ratchets, hammers, crimpers and knives.
- Must be able to properly and safely use power tools such as hand drill, bench drill, engraving machines and bench presses.
- Must be able to properly use and identify various types of Loctite, adhesives, epoxies and lubricants.
Job Requirements:
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high performance environment
- Must be able to properly and safely use power tools such as hand drill, bench drill, engraving machines and bench presses.
- Must be able work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Education and Experience:
- IPC soldering certifications desired
- Experience in a production environment
- 3-5 years similar manufacturing experience with good references
