VP of Home Health Sales

POSITION SUMMARY

Manage the Business Development Account Executive team to achieve sales and profit goals. Develop strategy to gain long-term competitive advantage in the market including development of brand positioning to maximize competitive differentiation.   Support and role model the service standards to all key constituents including patients, families, physicians, hospitals, and the community.  Strengthen relationships with all constituents and stakeholders through a systematic plan designed to cultivate support of the organization over the long term.   Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.  Heavy presence, in the field, coaching and evaluating the Sales team. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Provides feedback to the organization on all customer specific and/or customer related issues that confront the organization. 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS   

Education & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.  Advanced or Graduate Degree desirable in Nursing, Social Work, Business Administration, or related health field.

Licensure/Certifications: Current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Nursing and valid CPR certification preferred by not required.  Must possess a current valid Driver’s license.

Previous Experience: 5 or more years of healthcare management experience preferred. Marketing and sales experience in Home Health strongly preferred.  Marketing and sales experience in home health preferred.   Proven interpersonal skills and effective communication skills. Experience working "Trella" market statistics, preferred. Proven customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to gather, analyze and present complex data. Experience in group presentations. 

Job Knowledge: Strong customer relations, business development, decision making and communication skills. Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated. Must have impeccable customer service skills. Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and ability to master in-house computer systems. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid and third-party payor entities. Knowledge of principles, practices, and regulatory requirements of home care.

Computer Skills: Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, usernames and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop or laptop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.

Transportation: Must have valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation
