Summary
As a Care Coordinator at Visiting Angels, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs. This position will oversee all stages of the care lifecycle including assisting new leads, consulting and bringing on new clients, interviewing/hiring a care team, and maintaining tailored care arrangements, schedules, and changes in condition.
Responsibilities
- Positively represent Visiting Angels while Providing initial and follow up on lead calls and interviews with prospective clients.
- Coordinate and manage care plans for clients, ensuring all needs are met effectively.
- Identify, interview, and hire passionate caregivers.
- Communicate and develop positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers to assess ongoing needs and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of client information and care services provided.
- Assist in scheduling caregivers to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery.
- Provide training and support to caregivers on best practices and client-specific needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements
- Passionate about problem solving and delivering positive home care results.
- Ability to flex and manage times to meet the daily/weekly needs of care recipients
- Proven experience in medical administrative support or related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a medical or office setting is a plus.
