Job Description:

You will be responsible for an individual's safety and well-being to provide supportive non-clinical care. Schedules may vary from 2-hour shifts and beyond as we do care for some clients 24/7, so scheduling is flexible to either part-time, full-time, or as available. We are seeking adaptable, compassionate, honest, in-home caregivers to provide the best care possible to seniors as well as others who need in-home care.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license, working vehicle, commuting required, and current, up-to-date insurance
• Must adhere to plans of care for the client
• Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
• One year of in-home caregiver experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills, have active listening, between clients/families and staff
• Must be able to be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Medication reminders
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
• Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy, or appointments
• Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
• Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion
  
  
  

Skills

• One year of proven experience as an in-home caregiver (Preferred)
• Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker/training is available
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
