As an Optician at Visions, you will be a part of our comprehensive eye health team. This is a full-time position at Visions in Sylvan Lake. There are opportunities for growth within the company. Optical experience required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Must posses excellent phone/communication skills, computer proficiency, and be detail oriented.
- Multi-task efficiently and effectively
- Must be proficient with software. REVOLUTION EHR preferred but not required
- Provide exceptional customer service and knowledge in all areas related to eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Eyewear selection, fitting, and measurements based on individual optical prescriptions.
- Adjust and repair eyewear.
- Perform contact lens training and order contact lenses.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions as needed, and schedule appointments.
- Acquiring insurance authorizations
- General office cleaning and product merchandising.
- General office promotion
