Visions Event Studio is Chicago’s only proposal studio specializing in proposal planning, design, photography, and videography. Since 2010, we have helped clients plan one of the most meaningful moments of their lives with a full-service, high-touch experience from start to finish.
We are currently looking for a Freelance Floral Assistant to support our proposal and intimate event designs throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
This is an occasional, as-needed freelance role for someone who has a natural design eye, enjoys working with flowers, and is comfortable being hands-on behind the scenes. Our designs are romantic, intentional, and detail-driven, so we are looking for someone who appreciates beauty, excellence, and thoughtful execution.
What You’ll Help With:
- Processing and prepping fresh florals
- Assisting with floral arrangements and design elements
- Packing, loading, and organizing floral/event items
- Helping with on-site setup and teardown
- Styling small details to ensure the overall design feels polished
- Working efficiently and carefully in luxury venues and private spaces
The Right Fit:
- Has a strong eye for color, balance, and design
- Is dependable, calm, and professional
- Enjoys hands-on creative work
- Is comfortable taking direction and working as part of a small team
- Pays attention to the smallest details
- Can lift, carry, stand, and move during event setup
- Is available for occasional weekday and weekend events
- Is local to the Chicago western suburbs or the surrounding area
Floral experience is helpful, but the right attitude, design eye, and willingness to learn are just as important.
This is a freelance / 1099 position with occasional work based on event needs.
Pay: Starting at $25/hour, depending on experience.
