We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Floral Assistant to support our event design team during our busiest months. This role is ideal for someone with a strong design eye, hands-on floral experience, and a positive, can-do attitude. You’ll work behind the scenes in our warehouse assisting with floral prep, decor assembly, and event production support—helping bring our event designs to life. More details below!
Compensation & Details
- Based on experience
- 1099 Independent Contractor role
- 8–20 hours per week (varies depending on workload)
- Seasonal support during peak months (i.e. June through October)
- Based in Addison, IL (warehouse setting)
Responsibilities
- Assist with silk floral prep and arrangement assembly
- Follow design recipes and direction from lead designer
- Assemble centerpieces, installations, and decor elements
- Support general event prep and packing
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Assist with lifting and moving decor materials
Ideal Candidate
- Has floral experience, event production, and/or design experience
- Has a good eye for design, color, and composition
- Can follow directions while maintaining attention to detail
- Comfortable with hands-on, physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and efficient
- Works smart and efficiently
- Brings a positive and team driven attitude
Schedule
- Must have flexible weekday hours based on event schedule
- Occasional weekend support may be requested
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
