As an A/V Lead Installer, you’ll take the lead on installing and integrating pre-designed audio-visual solutions and supporting established systems. This is a full-time role based in Dallas, TX, with approximately 90% travel within Texas and neighboring states.
What You’ll Do
- Lead installation of medium to large-scale A/V systems, including multi-room campus solutions
- Interpret design packages, scope of work, and drawings to deliver high-quality installations
- Ensure standards compliance, safety, and quality control
- Manage job inventory, equipment, and personnel hours
- Install and configure systems from top vendors: Crestron, AMX, Extron, Kramer, Shure, Biamp, QSC, Panasonic, NEC, Samsung, Epson, Planar, and more
- Work with advanced technologies: AV over IP, HDBaseT, Dante, AVB
- Support conferencing systems, council chambers, and enterprise-level deployments
- 2 years of A/V installation experience
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to pass background checks
- Industry certifications preferred:
- InfoComm CTS (CTS-I a plus)
- Crestron (DMC-E, DM-NVX, CTI-x)
- Biamp, Shure, Dante, QSC
- Hands-on experience with CAD interpretation, cable termination, and networking fundamentals
- Ability to work independently or lead a team under tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel extensively (90%)
