We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our company. In this pivotal role, you will lead engagements from start to finish.
Duties
- Lead day-to-day fieldwork
- Review Staff workpapers
- Coordinate audit timelines and client requests
- Perform more complex audit areas
- Communicate regularly with client accounting personnel
- Ensure audit documentation meets standards
- Draft financial statements and disclosures
- Execute risk assessment procedures
- Assist with planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA certification is a plus, but not mandatory
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environments with a focus on general ledger accounting and technical accounting practices.
- Deep understanding of GAAP standards along with experience in non-profit is advantageous.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial concepts and perform detailed account reconciliation and journal entries.
