Essential Functions
What you’ll do
- Map the developer journey (onboarding, CI/CD, build/test, deploy, incident review); identify bottlenecks and define “golden paths.”
- Prototype LLM‑assisted workflows (ticket triage, runbook/search, log and incident summaries, PR hints) with clear prompts, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Automate repetitive tasks and enable self‑service (templates, scripts, dashboards) that shorten inner‑loop feedback cycles.
- Ship DevEx dashboards tracking lead time for changes, deployment frequency, build stability, MTTR, and product adoption.
- Partner with product/engineering/analytics to source trustworthy data, define metrics/SLAs, and document simple metric definitions and lineage.
- Baseline current performance and demonstrate measurable impact (e.g., minutes saved per build, fewer handoffs, faster onboarding).
How you’ll work
- Rapid discovery‑to‑pilot using approved AI tools for research synthesis, prompt design, mock data, and quick UI/CLI concepts.
- Own a scoped lifecycle: from problem statement to pilot, with clear docs, dashboards, and runbooks for handoff.
Deliverables
- Current/future‑state maps with prioritized AI/automation opportunities.
- 1–2 validated AI copilots/assistants with prompts, evaluation criteria, and risks.
- 2–3 production‑quality DevEx dashboards with definitions and usage guides.
