We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated part-time Accounts Receivable / Legal Assistant to join our team.Position Overview: This role combines accounts receivable responsibilities with legal administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with numbers and legal documents, and able to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.Key Responsibilities:Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up with clientsContact clients directly to process payments and resolve outstanding balances professionally and courteouslyProcess and reconcile payments, maintain accurate financial recordsAssist with legal administrative tasks such as preparing documents, filing, and client correspondenceSupport attorneys and office staff with scheduling, document management, and other tasks as neededMaintain confidentiality of sensitive client and firm informationQualifications:Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or legal administrative work preferredComfortable speaking with clients about payments in a professional and empathetic mannerStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with legal or accounting software a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of discretion and professionalismSchedule:Part-time (2025 hours per week, flexible schedule)
