The Observation Lead is responsible for providing shift leadership to the observation team.
Essential Functions
- Provides leadership, mentoring, and serves as a resource to the Virtual Safety Observer (VSO) Team.
- Facilitate and coordinate staffing during shift to include all breaks.
- Determine patient assignments based on acuity and skill mix and adjust as needed throughout the shift.
- Receive VSO notifications confirming completion of the audiovisual check for initiation of Continuous Virtual Monitoring (CVM) and notification of CVM discontinuation by the Registered Nurse.
- Assume VSO responsibilities during periods of need

- Adhere to all company procedures and policies
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of six-months as a VSO preferred
- Technical proficiency of computer software applications
- Extreme attention to detail
