Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Virtual Safety Observer for an on-site position in Charleston, SC. The Virtual Safety Observer will monitor patients remotely to ensure safety and prevent incidents, communicate effectively with bedside staff, and escalate concerns as needed. Key daily responsibilities include observing patient activity via video feeds, documenting findings, and following safety protocols to support a safe healthcare environment. Collaboration with clinical teams and adherence to established procedures are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong observational and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to identify safety concerns and act promptly.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with nursing staff and patients.
- Experience using technology for patient monitoring, with proficiency in navigating video and monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of patient safety protocols and the capacity to follow established healthcare procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a healthcare or safety-related role preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Charleston, SC, with availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends if required.
