Job Description: This position is responsible for operational controls, monitoring visual systems, and maintaining the facility's production needs. It will enable the successful candidate to apply their knowledge as they learn new skills and collaborate as a team within a clean and safe environment. A willingness to embrace continuous self-improvement, learn, and take on new skills and responsibilities is expected. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in the manufacturing sector, pays strong attention to detail, and is committed to workplace safety.
Essential job functions:
· Placement on one of four 12-hour shifts, which rotate weekly, to operate the plant 24/7
· Follow written procedures for all operating duties.
· Maintain good communication and cooperation within the group.
· Show understanding of all positions within 90 days of hiring or completing the qualification procedures.
· Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Follow established safety rules and requirements.
· Follow established quality and environmental regulations.
· Follow standard operating procedures.
· Adjust and control operating settings.
· Troubleshoot and solve instrumentation problems.
· Maintain records of all necessary documents, equipment, and logbooks.
· Participate in job training to meet company needs.
· Sampling and testing of the product.
· Loading and unloading of trucks and railcars.
· Maintain qualifications on all operating positions.
Essential Job Skills:
· Able to lift objects weighting up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for a 12-hour shift.
· Employees must be able to work from heights.
· Follow established safety rules and requirements, including those set by OSHA and other relevant regulatory bodies.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Team-oriented and self-directed.
· Committed to quality, safety, and communication.
· Ability to work with schematics and comprehend complex technical instructions and blueprints.
· Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Education/Training Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Preferred: Associate degree in technical field.
Experience: Previous manufacturing experience is recommended. (2-5 years)
Schedule: Regular job requirements include a 12-hour workday. At times, the employee may be required to work longer hours and/or outside regular business hours.
Working conditions: Working conditions may involve both indoor and outdoor environments, varying according to weather conditions. The successful candidate will encounter chemicals used in the process in amounts that are non-hazardous to health. At times, the successful candidate may be required to work longer hours and/or outside regular business hours.
