OVERVIEW
PROCESS is currently seeking multiple individuals for the position of Senior Process Engineer or Process Engineer to perform process design engineering assignments. Positions are available in our Oak Ridge, TN office. Assignments will be government facility related, some dealing with nuclear processes and other assignments working in more traditional chemical processes. Experience in the commercial chemicals industry and/or nuclear process industry is required and process simulations skills are preferred. Minimum job requirements include a B.S. in chemical engineering with design and operating experience in a nuclear materials processing facility, chemical, petroleum, or other industrial processing facility. Project assignments may be in either the commercial or government sector and future opportunities may exist to transfer into more traditional industrial market project opportunities (chemicals, petrochemicals, etc.).
LOCATION
The position is for PROCESS' Oak Ridge, TN office located close to Knoxville, TN.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in chemical engineering from an accredited university
- Advanced degrees (M.S. or M.B.A.) and professional registration are a plus but not required.
- 5 - 10 years of combined plant operations, process design and/or project management experience.
- Ideal experience includes some process simulation and a variety and diverse mix of chemicals manufacturing environments (batch and continuous).
- An active or recently held government DOE Q-Clearance is highly desired but not required for some positions
- Advanced degree and Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration desired but not required.
