About the Position
Virgo Commercial Cleaning is a female-founded company providing premium commercial cleaning services with an emphasis on thoughtfully selected products, professional presentation, and consistent results.
We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented technicians who take pride in their work, respect our clients’ spaces, and maintain high cleaning standards. This role is a good fit for someone who works well independently, follows instructions carefully, and communicates professionally.
Responsibilities
- Complete cleaning services according to each property’s assigned scope and checklist.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean accessible surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch areas.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following training and manufacturer instructions.
- Keep equipment clean and organized, and report supply needs or equipment issues.
- Arrive on time and follow company uniform and professional appearance standards.
- Accurately record working hours and completed services.
- Notify management of damage, maintenance concerns, or areas that cannot be cleaned because they are obstructed or inaccessible.
- Protect client confidentiality and follow building access and security procedures.
- Refer requests for services outside the assigned scope to management.
Technicians are not responsible for moving furniture, boxes, deliveries, merchandise, or other items obstructing service areas.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering thorough, consistent work.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently or alongside other technicians.
- Professional communication and a respectful attitude toward clients and coworkers.
- Reliable transportation to assigned properties.
- Ability to perform essential cleaning duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Pay and Schedule
Pay ranges from $28–$30 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position. Assigned locations, available shifts, and expected weekly hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
