The Intake Coordinator role is a critical member of the development team that acts as the external facing representative of VRC across all organizational levels. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for admitting new patients into the facilities with a smooth and efficient process. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for establishing and maintaining a first- impressions by demonstrating strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly evaluate the viability of a case. Intake Coordinator Job Responsibilities
- Conducts pre-admission assessments.
- Responds and reacts to the needs of referred clients.
- Screens calls from referrals and sets up transportation for admission.
- Maintains a waiting list for admissions and stays in contact with potential candidates to facilitate admissions.
- Assisting patients with the admissions paperwork.
· Knowledge of community resources.
· Entering patient information into the EMR system.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of VRC service offerings.
- Performing standard clerical work.
- Welcoming clients to the facility and providing tours and introductions to groups and staff.
- Comply with the regulations and policies of the facility.
- Works closely with the team as well as external parties to ensure the timely admission of clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
