Qualified Candidates must have started an Apprenticeship program. Prefer candidates near the end of their Apprenticeship Program or those who have Journeyman status. Responsibilities include: -Installs, maintains and repairs underground distribution and service lines. -Repairs, maintains and installs power lines, street lighting, service connections, etc. -Installs new transformers, air switches and reclosures -Climbs power poles to make inspections, installations and repairs in inclement weather -Assists in the construction of substations. -Answers trouble calls. -Performs other related work as assigned.
