.Job Title: Customer Service Associate ( Laundromat Attendant )
Hours: Sunday 9:00 am - 9:00 pm . Mon-Thru 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Reports To: Area Manager
Job Summary:The Customer Service Associate is responsible for assisting customers with self-service laundry, specialty laundry services, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This role includes handling transactions, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing general customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with laundry services and machine usage.
- Complete wash/fold and other specialty laundry services in accordance with customer requests and store guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down machines.
- Monitor and restock supplies such as detergent and dryer sheets.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the Area Manager.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols.
- Remain within the store during the entire shift unless at scheduled lunch. Post SuperSuds approved sign while away from the store.
- As needed, assist with service at alternate store locations.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, basic math skills, basic computer skills, and ability to multitask in a customer-first environment.
- Certifications/Licenses: None required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in a laundromat setting.
- Requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, reaching, and occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals.
