Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces in accordance with infection control and facility protocols
- Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash, biohazard materials, and recyclables
- Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and personal protective equipment as needed
- Follow established cleaning schedules and special cleaning requests
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery safely and correctly
- Follow all OSHA, CDC, and facility infection control guidelines
- Assist with terminal cleaning of rooms after resident discharge or transfer
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Knowledge of infection control in a nursing home environment is a plus
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
