Job Duties
Schedule: 7:00am-3:00pm. 5 days a week and every other weekend. (including holidays)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas in accordance with facility policies and cleaning schedules.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Dispose of trash and biohazard waste safely and properly.
- Follow all infection control procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or room condition issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and periodic sanitation tasks.
- Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas in an organized and safe manner.
- Provide respectful and courteous interactions with residents, families, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, supplies, equipment, and safety practices (training can be provided).
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Prior housekeeping experience in healthcare or long‑term care preferred but not required.
- Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Considerations
Previous long-term care, geriatric, or hospital experience preferred but not required.
