The NGA instructor needs to be able to cover a myriad of pre-deployment topics related to geospatial intelligence skills of analysts in expeditionary operations. The position is here in Springfield, VA with travel to St. Louis on occasion. The candidate would need to come in as a mid-level instructor.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience as a GEOINT analyst
- Experience with instructing adult learners
- Experience in deployment environments
- Experience providing analysis in various conditions and areas of responsibility
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience as an Instructor, Trainer, or Analyst in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience instructing pre-deployment classes
- Experience with Geospatial-Intelligence Preparation of the Environment (GPE)
- Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or an equivalent GIS system
- Experience with Geospatial Repository and Data Management System (GRiD)
- Experience with RemoteView, SOCET GXP, and QT Modeler
