Duties

• Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, boxes, and other household or commercial items using appropriate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
• Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
• Operate various types of commercial vehicles including box trucks and drivers’ vehicles with manual transmissions
• Plan and follow efficient route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload trucks with heavy lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles after each job
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the move

Requirements

• Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is highly preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is desirable
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while following safety guidelines
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
• Comfortable working in physically demanding environments with manual transmission vehicles
• Reliable transportation to get to job sites on time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
