The role involves engineering documentation, drawing and Computer Aided Design (CAD) maintenance, verification, and support for cross-discipline product development. Responsibilities include using Creo to develop plans, drawings, models, and initiating formats for parts, assemblies, and installation engineering CAD files usable in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, both oral and written, and a background in design processes. Basic qualifications include an Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience, or technical training, and experience with ProE/Creo or other 3D CAD modeling software. Desired skills include proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), knowledge of industrial standards and regulations, familiarity with Special Tooling (ST) / Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) development, and a commitment to productivity improvements and leveraging new technologies.
