Sun Country Airlines is seeking an Inflight Manager based in Minneapolis. This is a key leadership role supporting the Senior Manager of Inflight in overseeing the planning, implementation, and daily operations of the Inflight department. The Inflight Manager will supervise and support Flight Attendants to ensure compliance with company policies and federal regulations while driving safety, service excellence, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager, Inflight, you will maintain a high level of knowledge in areas including the Flight Attendant Manual, departmental memos, service duties and responsibilities, flight attendant policies and procedures, federal regulations applicable to flight attendant duties, transportation security regulations, departmental policies, union agreements, and the Company’s Drug and Alcohol Program. You will be responsible for the overall supervision, support, and coaching of flight attendants, and will interact daily via phone, email, and in person with flight attendants and other departments across the company. You will mentor and support team members, investigate policy or regulatory violations, and determine appropriate outcomes. You will research reports from customer service and follow up as necessary, provide crew briefings before, during, and after trips, and offer on-call assistance in emergencies or operational decisions. You will attend interdepartmental meetings, ensure compliance with federal regulations and the Flight Attendant Manual, monitor operational performance, investigate delays to identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Your role includes conducting audits and quality assurance rides, participating in operational and inflight quality assurance meetings, assisting in hiring new flight attendants, and completing projects assigned by the Senior Manager or Vice President of Inflight.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and possess three or more years of prior leadership experience. Previous management experience, prior qualification as a flight attendant, and experience in performance management are all preferred. The candidate should have the ability to motivate, mentor, lead, coach, and develop a team, and be comfortable addressing large groups. They must either possess an FAA-issued Flight Attendant Certificate or be able to complete the Flight Attendant Training Program. Experience with union collective bargaining agreement administration is essential, along with strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and has working knowledge of Part 121 operations, Federal Regulations, and Transportation Security Regulations. Flexibility and operational availability 24/7 is required, as Inflight Managers work varied hours, including early mornings and evenings, and schedules may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, and travel to complete assigned duties.
