Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include
- Keeping safety at the center of everything—fully understanding and following all regulations, and ensuring every piece of safety equipment is in working order.
- Greeting each passenger warmly, helping with seating, managing carry-on luggage, and conducting security-related tasks with care.
- Walking passengers through safety equipment and emergency procedures in a clear, reassuring manner.
- Preparing and serving meals, and beverages while maintaining a friendly, attentive approach.
- Using a mobile device to process onboard sales for meals, movies, and other products confidently.
- Handling unexpected situations calmly—from passenger conflicts to medical emergencies.
- Answering questions about flight operations and sharing helpful destination tips.
- Stepping into other duties as needed to support your team and guests.
We're looking for people who are dedicated, adaptable, and genuinely service-driven. To be considered, you must meet the following:
- Be authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 21 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of two years of customer or community service experience.
- Communicate clearly and fluently in English.
- Be ready and willing to attend four weeks of paid training in Portland, OR.
- Have an uncompromising dedication to safety—this is non-negotiable.
- Be flexible to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with extensive travel as a core part of the job.
- Possess basic computer literacy and comfort using mobile technology.
- Stay adaptable and perform effectively under stress, handling a wide variety of duties daily.
- Hold a current passport with unlimited access in and out of the U.S. (non-U.S. passport holders must have all appropriate documentation). You must also be able to fly unrestricted in and out of Canada.
- Be willing and able to relocate to any of our flight attendant bases: Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Medford, OR; Boise, ID; Spokane, WA; Anchorage, AK; or Everett, WA.
This role has specific physical and grooming requirements to ensure safety and professionalism:
- Your body size must fit within specific aircraft dimensions, including the jump seat harness (without modification), cabin aisles, and emergency exits.
- You must demonstrate the physical ability to perform all flight attendant duties.
- Tattoo policy: No visible tattoos on the face, front of neck, or chest. You may have one tattoo the size of a quarter or smaller per hand. Tattoos elsewhere cannot be larger than a credit card or be offensive. One tattoo is permitted per arm, leg, foot, back of neck, and behind each ear—but tattoos on the back of neck and behind ears must not be visible when looking directly at a person. Makeup is not allowed for coverage; only uniform pieces or approved jewelry/watches may be used.
