- Greeting every Guest with a genuine, warm welcome and remaining available throughout the flight to assist with anything they need
- Keeping a positive, empathetic attitude—even when things get hectic or delays happen
- Maintaining a consistently safe environment for both Guests and your fellow Team Members
- Staying calm and collected during high-pressure situations, helping to de-escalate tension with patience and professionalism
- Working closely with your crew—communicating clearly, collaborating effectively, and always treating each other with respect
- Moving through the cabin regularly to stay visible, approachable, and attentive to Guest needs
- Adapting to schedule changes caused by weather, operational needs, or unexpected delays without losing your cool
- Staying fully current on FAA regulations, company procedures, and ongoing training requirements
- Taking personal responsibility for punctuality, preparedness, and professionalism at all times
- Following appearance and etiquette guidelines that reflect well on you and the airline
- Being willing to pitch in across other departments when needed
- Comfortably using and explaining Breeze's inflight technology to Guests
- Serving meals, snacks, and beverages—including alcohol—while maintaining the highest hygiene standards
- Keeping the cabin clean and the galley organized, even in tight quarters
- Providing clear emergency and evacuation instructions when needed
- Administering first aid or medical care during emergencies
- Managing your own emotional responses and acting appropriately under significant stress
- Conducting security screenings and completing Autism Awareness Training
- Following all FAA and DOT travel regulations
- Meeting performance standards that align with Breeze's five core values
We're looking for people who meet the following requirements. Please read carefully—some of these are specific to Breeze.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Height: Must be able to reach emergency equipment in overhead bins without assistance; also must have adequate head clearance in the cabin
- Must be able to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat harness and lap belt
- Neat, well-groomed appearance that makes a positive impression
- Genuinely service-oriented—you actually enjoy helping people
- Willing to follow CDC-recommended hygiene standards
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently (you may need to communicate safety instructions to Guests who don't speak English)
- Must pass a vision and hearing test
- Must pass security screening training
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check and a Breeze background check
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Legal right to travel freely to and from the United States
- Valid passport with at least six months remaining before expiration (required at time of application)
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- Willing to relocate based on operational needs (if applicable)
- Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
- Able to report to your assigned base for your scheduled trips
- Able to work "Reserve Assignment" at your base
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and genuine desire to succeed
- Nose piercings are allowed: single 2mm or smaller nose stud only, in silver, gold, or gemstone—no hoops. No other facial piercings permitted.
- No teeth embellishments while in uniform
- Maximum of two earrings per ear while in uniform
- Tattoos may be visible under company guidelines (details provided during the selection process)
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Can read announcements clearly and give emergency commands in English
- Turns challenges into practical solutions
- Thinks independently while also being a true collaborative team player
- Works well without direct supervision when needed
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, closing overhead bins with approximately 50 pounds of push/pull force, and pushing/pulling beverage carts on wheels up and down inclines with up to 60 pounds of force
- Able to assist disabled passengers into and out of the inflight wheelchair and transport them as needed
- Capable of performing all safety-related procedures
- Embraces Breeze's "Seriously Nice" culture and safety mission
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Skilled at handling difficult situations, complaints, and conflict de-escalation
- Comfortable working with individuals and teams at all levels
- Monthly guarantee is 37.5 flying hours
- You must live within a two-hour drive of Charleston International Airport
- You'll need to successfully complete initial Flight Attendant training after being selected

- Hourly pay rates between $25 and $37.50
- Initial luggage and uniform provided by Breeze at no cost to you
- Paid training—you earn while you learn
