Loan Processor – Bilingual English/Spanish
VIP Executive Search is partnering with a respected credit union in Miami to hire a full-time Loan Processor. This position supports consumer lending operations while providing professional, responsive service to credit union members.
Location: Miami, FL 33136
Work Arrangement: In person
Pay: $21–$27 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:15 AM–4:00 PM
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus after successful completion of six months of employment.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, review, process, and book consumer loan applications.
• Review credit information, verify employment and income, calculate debt ratios, and assess collateral value.
• Coordinate loan approvals, closings, disbursements, and wire transfers.
• Assist members with loan inquiries, explain lending decisions, and discuss available alternatives.
• Process loan payoffs, refinances, payment extensions, collateral releases, and other servicing requests.
• Maintain vehicle title documentation and verify insurance coverage.
• Process VISA applications and credit line adjustments.
• Explain available loan protection products, including credit life, disability, VSA, and GAP coverage.
• Maintain accurate, secure loan files and comply with internal policies and applicable requirements, including BSA/AML, CIP, and OFAC.
• Identify and report suspicious activity and complete required compliance training.
• Recommend relevant credit union products and services.
• Collaborate with management and support staff, including assisting with training and cross-training.
Qualifications
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Minimum two years of progressively responsible consumer lending experience preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in a sales-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and financial systems.
• Ability to interpret and explain policies and procedures clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to commute to Miami, FL 33136 for in-person work.
