Position Overview
We’re hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor / Loan Officer Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in residential lending. This is an in-person role based in West Kendall near Tamiami Airport (Miami, FL)—remote work is not available. You’ll work closely with our loan officers and clients to manage documentation, coordinate with third parties, and ensure smooth, compliant closings.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- In-person at our West Kendall office
- No remote or hybrid options.
Key Responsibilities
- Process residential mortgage loan files from application to closing
- Communicate directly with clients to collect and verify loan documentation
- Coordinate with title companies, underwriters, and other third parties
- Submit complete loan packages for underwriting
- Track deadlines and ensure timely closings
- Support loan officers with client communication and file updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in residential mortgage lending
- Strong understanding of loan products, processing procedures, and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be a people person—comfortable speaking with clients and building rapport
- Familiarity with loan origination systems (LOS) and document portals
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required
- Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday
