Position Title: Aesthetic Nurse/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Department: Aesthetic Services

Reports to: Owner/Franchisee/Spa Manager/Medical Director

Coordinate Positions: Aesthetic Nurse Practitioners work closely with an overseeing Physician, Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant, and Spa Manager

Subordinate Positions: Medical Assistant and/or Nurse Assistant

Position Summary (Purpose): 

To provide aesthetic non-surgical cosmetic evaluation, consultation, treatments, as well as treatment recommendations as delegated by an overseeing physician. Treatments may include anti-wrinkle treatments by injection including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, body and facial injections, thread lifts, platelet-rich plasma therapy, micro-needling, derma roller, mesotherapy, lip enhancement, buttocks enhancement, cry lipolysis and other fat reduction treatments, chemical peels and microdermabrasion, etc.

Qualifications:

Legally certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant within the jurisdiction of employment

·        Knowledge of current Aesthetic treatment practices, products and trends (Minimum of two years’ experience)

·        Two or more years of injecting experience

·        Comfortable consulting patients regarding cosmetic needs, techniques and treatment plans

Physical/Mental Requirements:

·        Ability to lift at least 30lbs

·        Exposure to blood and bodily fluids, Utilizing proper PPE

·        Use of manual dexterity, gross motor skills, bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills

Work Environment: Spa environment

·        Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
