Vinyl Works is seeking a detail-oriented Print Manufacturing Graphics Finisher to join our production team. This role is responsible for laminating, trimming, mounting, and finishing printed film products while ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating laminating and finishing equipment, strong graphic mounting skills, and the ability to work carefully with a wide variety of films, substrates, and production specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work well in a team-focused manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and maintain laminating and finishing equipment, including 60” laminators and trimmers.
- Read and interpret job specifications, production instructions, and finishing requirements.
- Trim, laminate, mount, and finish printed graphics according to job specifications.
- Hand-mount and machine-mount adhesive films onto a wide variety of substrates.
- Work with technically challenging finishing recipes and custom production requirements.
- Inspect finished products for print, lamination, mounting, trimming, or material issues.
- Manage materials efficiently and help minimize waste.
- Ensure quality control throughout the finishing process.
- Contribute to process improvements and finishing solutions.
- Assist Shipping and Receiving with organizing, packing, and preparing finished jobs.
- Support other Technicians and Operators with daily production tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures related to equipment, materials, and production tasks.
- Work overtime as needed based on production schedules.
- Experience operating 60” laminators required.
- Graphic mounting experience required.
- Ability to visually identify print, lamination, mounting, and finishing issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production/manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work with large-format materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
