Duties
- Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal finish application
- Apply paint, stain, lacquer, or other finishes using airless paint spraying equipment, brushes, or rollers
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during finishing processes
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify surface smoothness and finish consistency
- Handle materials carefully using forklifts and cranes when moving large or heavy components within the workshop or warehouse
- Conduct auto body repair techniques and auto painting methods as needed for touch-ups or repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure compliance with safety protocols throughout all finishing tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of Proven experience with applying stain/lacquers & paint to
- custom cabinetry
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes and machinery operation
- Familiarity with fabrication, machining, welding, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in finishing procedures
- Warehouse experience preferred for efficient materials management and organization
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control during finishing processes
