Concrete Finisher

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to perform various tasks related to the finishing and restoration of concrete surfaces. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a construction site environment, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up concrete forms for various projects, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
• Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and heavy equipment.
• Smooth and level surfaces using various finishing techniques to achieve desired textures.
• Restore damaged concrete surfaces through repair techniques and methods.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in the installation of related materials such as drywall and masonry as needed.
• Perform construction estimating tasks to provide accurate material needs for projects.
• Construct curbing, sidewalk, and ADA ramps.

Skills

• Proficient mechanical knowledge related to concrete forming and finishing processes.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation relevant to concrete work.
• Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques and practices.
• Ability to effectively restore and repair existing concrete structures.
• Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures.
• Knowledge of drywall installation methods is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
