The Vinton-Shellsburg Community School District is always seeking applicants to assist our district by substitute teaching. Substitute teachers can choose their areas of preference and set their schedule based on availability.
Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with per diem rates for long-term substitutes.
Requirements:
A valid Iowa Teaching License or Sub Authorization
Mandatory Reporter Child Abuse Certified
Mandatory Reporter Dependent Adult Abuse Certified
Substitutes are expected to follow the district employee handbook.
Background check upon board approval.
