About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician with HVAC Experience plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and safety of residential and commercial properties within the real estate and rental industry. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems as well as other building infrastructure components to maintain tenant comfort and property value. The technician will work proactively to identify potential issues before they escalate, minimizing downtime and costly repairs. Collaboration with property management and vendors is essential to coordinate maintenance schedules and emergency responses efficiently. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for tenants and stakeholders alike.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Valid HVAC certification or license as required by state regulations.
- Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems related to building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC technology or a related field.
- Experience working in the real estate, rental, or property management industry.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
