What are the responsibilities and job description for the Violin Teacher position at Vineyard Artists?
Vineyard Artists was founded by experienced artists and musicians. We are dedicated to enriching children’s after school time with art and music by discovering and guiding their potential artistic talents. We focus on designing lessons that work for each individual, regardless of the level and age. We inspire our students to develop their sense of self-esteem, self-discipline and self-motivation.
Currently, Vineyard Artists is recruiting a Violin Teacher with the same philosophy as ours to accompany students on their arts learning journey.
Classes
- Onsite class :442 Marrett Rd 1A, Lexington, MA 02451
- Class Length: 30-60 minutes
- Schedule: Saturday or Sunday, and one weekday after school (after 3:30/4:00pm)
- Class Size: one on one
Responsibility and lesson plan
- Design lessons according to students’ level and personal goal
- Give feedback to students' performance in each class, pay attention to each students’ growth and room for improvement
- Establish a healthy communication with students and parents
Rate:
$40-45 starting rate depending on your experience and how long you have been with us
Qualification:
- B.A. in music education or music performance. Master preferred
- fluent in English (Chinese and English bilingual preferred)
- more than one year of child education experience
- access to car
- working authorization
