Kids Ministry Director (Part-Time) — Vinelife Church

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Kids Ministry Director who will lead, build, and disciple a thriving children’s ministry rooted in the Kingdom of God.
This is more than organizing Sunday mornings.
This is about shaping a culture where kids learn to hear God, respond to Him, and participate in His mission.
What You’ll Do
- Provide vision and leadership for the Kids Ministry
- Lead and oversee Sunday morning kids gatherings
- Prepare and organize curriculum, materials, and environments
- Equip children to hear God and respond, including using the Vineyard 5-Step Prayer Model
- Recruit, train, schedule, and disciple a team of volunteers
- Build a ministry that reflects spiritual formation, not just activity
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-run environment for every child
- Communicate clearly and consistently with parents and caregivers
- Steward and manage the ministry budget
- And yes—have fun doing it
Who You Are
- You love Jesus and have a growing, personal relationship with Him
- You believe kids can know God and be used by Him right now
- You are both leader and discipler, not just an organizer
- You are relational, dependable, and able to build teams
- You have a working knowledge of Scripture and can teach it simply
- You are comfortable with basic technology and administrative tools
- You have at least 3 years of experience in children’s ministry (preferred)
- A relevant degree is helpful, but not required
Schedule & Commitment
- 15–20 hours per week
- Includes:
- Sunday mornings (~6 hours)
- Monday staff meetings
- Flexible planning and prep time during the week
