As a Tasting Room Concierge, you will serve as the face of our winery and the first point of contact for every guest who visits our property.
This is a highly visible hospitality role for someone who thrives on making people feel welcome, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences. From greeting guests and coordinating reservations to supporting service teams and creating memorable moments, you will play a critical role in ensuring every visit exceeds expectations.

What You'll Do
Create Exceptional First Impressions
- Welcome guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
- Serve as the first ambassador of the Gundlach Bundschu brand and experience.
- Check guests in using our reservation system and guide them to their tasting location.
- Provide information about the property, experiences, wines, and winery offerings.
Coordinate the Guest Experience
- Partner with managers and hospitality teams to ensure smooth daily operations and service flow.
- Assist with guest seating, reservation management, table timing, and guest communications.
- Help identify opportunities to create memorable moments and personalized touches for guests celebrating special occasions.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively provide support throughout their visit.
Support Hospitality Operations
- Assist Wine Educators and service teams with clearing tables, resetting spaces, and maintaining guest areas.
- Deliver food items and provide brief menu descriptions when needed.
- Maintain tasting room, patio, and hospitality spaces to ensure they remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Restock wine, retail merchandise, service supplies, and operational materials throughout the day.
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, including dishwashing, stocking, and general cleaning.
Be a Team Player
- Jump in wherever needed to support a seamless guest experience.
- Work collaboratively with hospitality, kitchen, events, and management teams.
- Contribute to a positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum one year of customer-facing hospitality, restaurant, retail, tourism, or service experience.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional special events.
- ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Experience with TOCK reservations, POS systems, or hospitality software is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the property.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors and navigating uneven terrain.
