What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Development Representative position at viLogics?
Job Summary
This position requires a motivated self-starter who will “hunt” for sales opportunities. This is an entry-level position with massive opportunities for advancement. We believe this individual contributor plays a fundamental role in helping viLogics grow and meet aggressive sales goals. The SDR must be comfortable making cold calls, working with partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions of the Job)
- Develop an in-depth understanding of viLogics products and services.
- Research and identify new opportunities and markets to target for cold calling and email campaigns.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate viLogics resources.
- Achieve quarterly quotas.
- Perform effective online demos and discovery calls for prospects.
Other Responsibilities
- All other responsibilities as assigned in accordance with qualifications.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Education – Associates degree in Informatics, Marketing, Communications, or other related field is preferred but not required.
- Experience –proven inside sales experience is a plus
- Certification/Licensure – Microsoft 365, ConnectWise or similar CRM, CPQ Tool
Skills and Abilities
- Must have an exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Must possess a track record of achieving quotas
- Must have experience with using CRM software (Ex. Hubspot, SalesForce)
- Must have experience with email campaign software to generate Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Must have a strong phone presence and experience with mass calling per day.
- Must be proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess strong listening and presentation skills
- Must be able to accomplish tasks working in a team environment
- Must be willing to respond to change in a dynamic environment with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives
- Must demonstrate the ability to identify and meet internal/external customer needs
- Must be able to maintain security and confidentiality over sensitive customer or business information
Working Conditions
Physical Requirements:
Working conditions are for a normal office environment. May require repetitive movement of fingers and pressure on wrists and hands during the use of a computer keyboard.
Mental Requirements:
Mental requirements for the position require reading, simple math calculations, multitasking, withstanding moderate amounts of stress, the need to concentrate for extended periods of time, and the ability to balance numerous tasks at one time.
