Role Description
The Wellness Director is a full-time, on-site role located in Bloomington, IL. The Wellness Director will oversee and coordinate all health and wellness programs to promote the physical and mental well-being of residents. Responsibilities include developing and managing wellness initiatives, maintaining compliance with health requirements, coaching and training staff, and fostering a caring and supportive environment that aligns with the mission of the Villas of Holly Brook.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including written and verbal, to effectively engage residents, families, and staff
- Experience in Health & Wellness and the ability to implement and oversee wellness programs for residents
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial planning to ensure effective management of wellness programs
- Training skills to educate and guide staff and apply best practices in wellness initiatives
- Passion for improving the quality of life for senior residents and fostering a supportive community
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or wellness program management is a plus
- Certification or degree in health-related fields, wellness, or management is desired
