Summary:
The Receptionist will report to the Tour Operations Director and will oversee all receptionist duties at the main entrance desk. The Receptionists main goal is to provide our customers with outstanding customer service and support. As the face of our company, the successful candidate will be professional and friendly, with outstanding people skills.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering, screening and routing all phone calls.
- Responsible for answering all inquiries about the company.
- Greet customers and visitors and provide them with superb customer service.
- Contribute to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the company.
- Schedule meetings as requested and is responsible for coordinating meetings times in the departure room.
- Responsible for maintaining snack pack inventory.
- Ensure reception area is neat, presentable and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Accept all letter and packages and coordinates mail flow in and out of the office.
- Order all office supplies and equipment.
- Maintain calendar of all Wichita office employees.
- Serves as a backup to the reservations and tour department.
- Coordinates recycle and shredding services.
- Answers all online inquiries from customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or relevant qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role.
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and communicate (orally and written) effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-taking abilities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to speak clearly, calmly and to maintain patience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend and sit. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
