Village Travel is an award winning, family-owned company that operates a large fleet of over 200 charter motorcoaches. The Company began in 1980 and has since expanded its regional footprint and continues to grow into one of the largest full-service charter and tour operations in the Midwest.
We are seeking an on-site Charter Sales Coordinator for our office in Springdale, AR. This is a Full-Time position responsible for effectively conducting all charter sales from initial customer contact to the post trip follow up.
The schedule is in the office Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Starting at $22-28/hr no commission.

Charter Sales Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creates accurate charter quotes within 24 hours using estimated miles from itinerary and correct rates to ensure hours of service compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers by communicating in a professional manner and building relationships.
- Follows up on quotes and converts to sales contracts.
- Obtains detailed final itineraries from customers and completes timely updates/changes to charter information.
- Sends invoices, collects and processes payment information for charters.
- Provides administrative support for all areas of company, especially with dispatch and accounting.
- Monitors accounts receivable and has zero outstanding balances past sixty days.
- Records tips collected from customers and submits to accounting for driver disbursement.
- Seeks out new motor coach business and advises GM of market changes and/or opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two years in previous office setting.
- Be able to manage time and resources effectively to meet sales objectives.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Must demonstrate judgement in balancing the needs of the customer with needs of the Company.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong PC skills to include the use of MS Office Products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales environment or similar role.
